Morecambe is the ‘geographical heart of the UK’ and the starting point for The Big Walk 2018 so we were thrilled to have the team visit our Unique Kidz and Co!
Walkers from both Team Wales and Team Northern Ireland came along to spend the morning at Unique Kidz and Co to hear about our story and see what we do as part of The Big Walk 2018. The group were shown around our building and met some of our young adults along with the families at Stay and Play – all whilst enjoying a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake!
The Big Walk is all about bringing communities together and four teams of walkers will begin their journey from Morecambe and travel to each of our four nations covering more than 250 miles. The aim is to shine a light on the groups and events in communities that bring people together ending on 3rd June with The Big Lunch! We are thrilled to be the first stop on the tour for Team Wales and Team Northern Ireland!
