International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women around the world. At Unique Kidz and Co, this day is extra special for Unique Kidz as a charity set up by two mums, Jane and Denise, and we celebrate the inspiring women and girls who are part of our Unique community.
A Legacy of Empowerment
In 2009, Jane and Denise, two determined mums, embarked on a mission to create a better world for children with disabilities. Faced with the challenge of finding suitable childcare for their own children, they founded Unique Kidz and Co. Their vision was simple yet profound: to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children with disabilities to thrive.
Today, their dream has blossomed into a thriving charity that supports 187 young people, including many incredible women and girls. Jane and Denise’s unwavering dedication and perseverance shine brightly as a testament to the incredible power of women to spark meaningful change in their communities.

IWD at our Charity Disco Ball
We are so happy that International Women’s Day is on the same day as our biggest fundraiser of the year! We will be celebrating the night with Jane, Denise, many of our female colleagues and some of the young women who attend our services. We look forward to the ball every year so with a dash of IWD sparkle, and plenty of Disco glitter, we will be having an amazing night!
